Ministry of Defence invites applications for the post of Quantity Surveyor . You can apply to it before closing date as per the following details. Closing date and other job details are given below.
Experience in supporting the creation of Bills of Quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents for infrastructure development or related projects is preferred, as is the assessment of suppliers’ and contractors’ offers to promote open and competitive contract awarding. competent to prepare and/or verify intermediate and final payment certifications in accordance with quality standards, verified amounts, and contract terms. Experience in evaluating and valuing variations brought about by design modifications, unanticipated ground conditions, or technical requirements, as well as in making sure that contracts for commodities and civil works are fulfilled efficiently, affordably, and in accordance with project goals.
The credentials and experience requirements for category F of MSD Circular No. 02/2026, Annexure are listed in the second column on pages x and xi.
Overall Conditions :
- All recruits are expected to perform their duties in liaison and coordination activities with relevant Government Organizations and other agencies.
- Applicants shall be below 64 years of age on the closing date of the receipt and closing date of applications as stated below.
- Proficiency in English, familiarity with government regulations, and computer literacy are essential prerequisites for the above posts.
- Work experience in foreign-funded projects would be an added advantage.
- Employees of Government Ministries, Departments, Corporations, Statutory Boards, and Institutions should submit their applications through the appropriate Heads of Institutions, noting whether the candidate may be released upon selection.
Salary :
- Paid together with allowances as per the Department of Management Services Circular No. 02/2026 and its revisions, if any. (Employee contributes 8% of the monthly salary to the Employees’ Provident Fund, while the employer contributes 12% to the Employees’ Provident Fund and 3% to the Employees’ Trust Fund.)
