Qualifications and Experience :

• Sound knowledge of Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (SLASs), Sri Lanka Auditing Standards (SLAuSs), corporate laws, and global regulatory best practices is essential.
• A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience, in a managerial capacity in the field of accounting, auditing, financial regulation, or a similar environment.
• A Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.

Age and Terms :

• Basis of Employment: Permanent
• Preferably below 45 years as at the closing date of applications.

Role Summary :

The Deputy Director Supervision will report directly to the Director Supervision and will play a critical role in planning, executing, and reviewing the Board’s regulatory activities. The primary responsibilities include :

• Monitoring developments in accounting and auditing regulations and recommending appropriate changes.
• Drafting regulatory reports, communication letters, and assisting to the Director Supervision for communication.
• Assisting in conducting audit inspections of SBE auditors for compliance with SLAuSs.
• Reviewing offinancial statements of SBEs for compliance with SLASs.
