People’s Bank invites applications for the post of Civil Engineer. You can apply to it before closing date as per the following details. Closing date and other job details are given below.
Civil Engineer roles include ;
- Tender Evaluation and Recommendation.
- Preparation of Designs, Tender documents including BOQ, specifications, conditions of contracts and cost estimation for projects undertaken by Bank.
- Taking measurements of completed works and recommend for payments.
- Preparation of EOC papers/Board papers for necessary approvals for major/medium construction projects undertaken by Bank.
- Adhere to rules and regulations imposed by the Bank from time to time.
- Any other duties and responsibilities entrusted by the Bank which is within the capability and/or expertise of the employee to perform.
- Attending to following tasks in major/medium construction and renovation projects undertaken by Bank.
STAFF REQUIREMENTS :
- Should possess a BSc degree in Civil Engineering from a university or a degree awarding institute recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
- Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
WORK STUDY :
- Should possess a minimum of five (05) years of experience in building construction and maintenance work.
WHAT SKILLS YOU NEED :
- Capacity of coordination with all relevant parties.
- Capacity to achieve targets.
- Excellent Communication & Negotiation skills.
- Leadership, planning, coordinating duties with main Banking Stream.
AGE :
- Age preferably below 45 years of age as at closing date of applications.
THE WAY WE CHOOSE :
- Shortlisted applicants based on the stipulated qualifications and experience will be called for an interview. The appointment will be made on contract basis and performance will be evaluated annually.
