REQUIREMENTS :

• Having a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and over ten years of experience in mechanical system design and maintenance, or having a degree in Nondestructive Evaluation, System Safety, or Health and Safety in Mechanical Engineering and over fifteen years of experience in mechanical system design and maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Direct and coordinate the Bank’s mechanical engineering efforts, including the development and rollout of efficient and cost-effective systems throughout the institution and its many branches.
• Reduce the carbon footprint through energy-efficient designs and optimal resource use through leading, initiating, and participating in the monitoring and implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) projects.
• Initiate, assist, and oversee the execution of ISO 14001:2015 compliant environmental management systems.
• Oversee routine mechanical engineering maintenance as well as any other administrative or technical tasks pertaining to the restoration and repair of designated branches.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS NEEDED :

• Strong knowledge and exposure to procurement procedures, including technical evaluations. vendor selection and coordination.
• Knowledge of Civil and Electrical Engineering. particularly in relation to building services and branch infrastructure.
• Strong familiarity with the fundamentals of project management, particularly as they pertain to organizing and planning. keeping track of tasks and making sure they are finished on schedule.
• Proven experience in labor handling, supervision and execution of task-oriented engineering work.
