Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Maintain integration documentation, API specs, and technical runbooks.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint delivery commitments.
- Work closely with Solution Architects, DevOps, QA, and Security teams to deliver stable releases.
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production issue resolution for integration failures.
- Ensure reliability using retry strategies, idempotency, timeouts, and resilience patterns.
- Implement transformation, validation, routing, orchestration, and error-handling logic in integration flows.
- Work with message-based integration patterns (queues, pub/sub. event streaming).
- Develop secure REST APIs and integration services with proper authentication and authorization controls.
- Build and manage API integrations between internal platforms, core systems, channels, and external partners.
- Design and develop middleware services and integration components using Python and Java.

Educational Qualifications :
- A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering/IT or a relevant field will be an added advantage.
- A Degree from a recognized University in the fields of Computer Science, Software Engineering/IT or relevant field.
Work Experience :
- Experience in regulated environment such as banking, fintech or payments will also be an added advantage.
- Experience with API gateways such as WSO2, Kong. Apigee, etc. will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in the software engineering
