Limited Competitive Exam for Sri Lanka Scientific Service 2026 Grade III Recruitment, Public Service Commission

Salary Scale :

• As per Schedule II of Public Administration Circular No. 10/2025 dated 25.03.2025, the monthly salary scale applicable to this post is Rs. 82,150-10x 2,400-8x 2,940–17x 3,900– Rs.1,95,970/- (SL–1–2025). and said salary will be paid with effect from 01.01.2027. Salaries will be paid as per Schedule III of the above circular until then. In addition to this, other
  allowances paid to the public officers by the government from time to time are also entitled to this post.

Qualifications for Recruitment :

General Qualifications :

• Shall be of an excellent character.
• Shall have the physical and mental fitness to serve in any part of Sri Lanka and to perform the duties of the post.
• Shall have completed a satisfactory period of service within the 5 years immediately preceding the date on which the qualifications are considered.
• Shall not have received disciplinary punishment as per the provisions stipulated in Public Service Commission Circular No. 01/2020.
• Shall not have sat for the written examination more than twice.
• All the qualifications required for recruitment to the post should be fulfilled in every respect as at the closing date of applications indicated in the Gazette Notification of calling for applications.
