Project Manager – Peoples Bank Job Vacancies 2026

Age :

• Age preferably below 45 years as at closing date of applications.

The key responsibilities involved in the position among others are :

• Track project portfolio health
• Provide regular project status reports, updates and other required artifacts to the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure alignment with organizational standards.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, risk management and mitigation strategies in collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Proactively report progress to identified steering committees and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Ensure organizational processes and procedures are followed consistently.
• Act on feedback to drive continuous improvement and value delivery.
• Lead execution and follow-up of cross-functional programs, projects, and initiatives.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with all business units to understand their needs and requirements.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets and drive the projects according to the agreed plans.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT :

• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Software design and development experience.
• Experience in digitization and transformation projects.
• Proven ability to prioritize, negotiate, and resolve conflicts across multiple initiatives.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, etc
• Familiarity with agile and waterfall project management frameworks.
• Exposure to banking, financial/fintech operations is a plus.
• Positive attitude and a “can-do” mindset.
• 4-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in full project lifecycles in software and hardware projects and proven track record in project delivery.
• Should possess a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field offered by a University or a degree awarding Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission of Sri Lanka.
• Should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
