University of Colombo invites applications for the post of Nursing Officer. You can apply to it before closing date as per the following details. Closing date and other job details are given below.

- Rs. 51,095/- + Cost of Living Allowance + EPF (12%) + ETF (3%)
Period of Contract :
- One Year

- By Interview
Minimum Qualifications :
- Passes in six subjects at the G.C.E. (O/L) Examination at not more than two sittings with credit passes in 3 subjects.
- Certificate of competence as a Nurse recognized by the Sri Lanka Medical/Nursing Council.
GENERAL CONDITIONS :
This appointment is a Temporary appointment, initially for a period of one year. However, the University may consider extending the services of the selected candidate depending on satisfactory performance and the requirements of the University during the period of service.
If the prospective candidate is currently employed at a higher educational institution/government department/ government corporation, the recommendation of the Head of the Institution shall also be attached to the application.
Also, certified copies of relevant educational qualifications (including transcripts), professional certificates, extra-curricular, and service certificates are also required to be enclosed with the completed application and should be forwarded under the registered post to the “Senior Assistant Registrar/Non-Academic Establishments, University of Colombo, 94, Cumaratunga Munidasa Mawatha, Colombo 03” on or before 03.02.2026.
