After delaying the introduction of the new Grade 6 educational reforms until 2027, the Ministry of Education has released rules for carrying out Grade 6–13 instructional activities this year.
The ministry has mandated that the daily calendar for grades 06–13 be changed to include eight (08) sessions, each lasting forty minutes.
Timetables should be created appropriately, using the same structure as in prior years.
The Education Ministry added that the Grade 06 curriculum used in prior years will continue to be used in 2026.
The textbooks that students used the year before should be the main source of information for educational activities.
As previously directed, formal academic activities for the new education reform curriculum, which is planned for adoption in Grdae 1 for the year 2026, will start on January 29, 2026.
