The Person :
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Management or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
- Excellent command of both oral and written English.
- A highly motivated and proactive individual with the ability to work autonomously while effectively managing and meeting stringent deadlines.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Banking and Finance.
- Full or part professional qualification in Finance (CIMA, ACCA) or attained a minimum of the Corporate Level of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
Job Responsibilities :
- Assist in preparation of Annual Report.
- Assist in preparing annual budget, projection and financial forecast.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the Bank’s strategic plans and performance tracking systems.
- Conduct research and analyze industry trends, competitor performance and market opportunities.
- Promote credit awareness among business units and compile non-performing loans related information.
- Prepare KPIs, measure them and report them to the management on pre agreed time lines.
- Submission of Board Papers related information.
- Contribute to finance-related system developments
- Provision of Management Information (MI) in the form of dashboards, reports and presentations to diverse set of stakeholders including management, business owners, rating agencies, CBSL etc.
