Educational qualifications, experience and other qualifications :
- Should have obtained a first degree in Archaeology (Special) / Heritage Management with a postgraduate degree from a University which is recognized by the University Grants Commission. And Should have obtained a twenty years (20) of experience in a State Corporation or in a University at a managerial position, out of that, 05 years should have served at a senior management level post after obtaining the degree qualification. Or Along with a degree obtained in above subject, should have obtained a Master’s Degree in the relevant field
and experience as an officer having service record of at least five (05) years at a managerial level post in a Government Organization, State Corporation, Statutory Institution or at a University. - Every applicant should be a citizen of Sri Lanka.
- Applicants should have a good physical and mental health to discharge duties well in the post.
- Applicants should be of a good moral character.
