Central Environmental Authority invites applications for the post of Director (Finance), Assistant Director (Human Resources Development) . You can apply to it before closing date as per the following details. Closing date and other job details are given below.

The ideal candidates will have the technical know-how, strategic acumen, and leadership qualities to propel the Authority to greater financial success and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in strategic thinking, budgeting, and financial analysis.

leadership and management, strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and vocal), and the capacity to automate regular work using accounting and financial management tools.

Skills and Background :-

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Finance Management which is recognized by the UGC.
  • AP Postgraduatee degreeree qualification (Master’s) in the field of Financial Management which is recognized by the UGC or Corporate Membership of ACA/CIMA/ ACCА.
  • A minimum of fifteen years of “Managerial Level” experience in accounting, financial management, or auditing at an established institution is required.
  • Having obtained the qualifications required by the external candidates above.
  • Completion of minimum five (5) years satisfactory service in a post in the Manager Category (MM) – Grade I, in the subject area relevant to the post.

Age :

  • Should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years.

Pay Range :

  • Rs. 140,640 – 15 х 4,100 -202,140
  • You will be placed at the salary step of Rs. 123,019.00 in terms of Management Services Circular No. 01/2025 of 25.03.2025 and its Schedule I1.

Overarching Guidelines :

Applicants are advised to visit www.cea.lk website and fill the Microsoft Form and submit to reach the Director General on or before 04th June 2026. All qualifications, educational, professional and otherwise, must be satisfied by the closing date of the advertisement. Late and partial submissions will not be accepted. Copies of certificates to establish academic/professional qualifications and experience should be attached with the Microsoft Form. If the Degree obtained from foreign/ private university, a UGC recognition should be attached.

Recruitment Process :

Shortlisted applicants as per needed credentials & experience will be called for a written competitive examination and/or a structured interview as per authorized SOR and selection will be based on merit list.

Nature of appointment :

Permanent with Employees Provident Fund and Employees Trust Fund entitlement.

Bonuses and Extra Pay :

  • Professional allowance of Rs. 25,000.00 per month.
  • In addition to the above salary, Rs. 17,800.00 of cost of living allowance is paid.
  • Vehicle allowance of Rs. 50,000/- and fuel allowance relevant to the post of Director (Finance) and group transportation facilities for Assistant Director (Human Resources Development) post.

  • Telephone allowance as applicable for the posts.
