Job Responsibilities :
- Close monitoring of security services at the Seylan Head Office and branches.
- Assist Controller – Intelligence & Security (CIS) to implement, develop and administer all security and safety aspects in branches and departments of the bank.
- Ensure the high standards of service quality and presentability of all deployed security officers.
- Monitor and inspect security officers deployed at branches when and submit reports on the breaches of security policies and the security lapses at branches.
- Assist CIS to identify, analyze and control existing and potential security and safety hazards and ensure adequate security measures are implemented to prevent such breaches.
- Assist CIS to provide security and safety training, conduct regular fire drills and provide support and guidance to all Bank officers on such matters.
- Respond promptly and appropriately in the event of a theft and crime in order to minimize losses.
- Assist CIS to monitor, administer and inspect security devices (including weapons) at all branches and obtain renewal of licenses and other relevant permits from government authorities.
- Assist CIS to monitor, administer and inspect electronic security devices installed in the Bank premises and liaise with respective vendors to ensure uninterrupted functioning of such devices.
- Check & monitor on recordings of CCTV on a continuous basis to identify security risks.
