The government is providing Rs. 25,000 to clean flood-damaged dwellings in Thimbirigasyaya Divisional Secretariat Division of Colombo District.
The Ministry of Finance Secretary said that the government will pay Rs. 25,000 per household for disaster-affected home cleaning. Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya has helped over 100 Thimbirigasyaya flood-returnee families.
Divisional Secretariats will also provide financial assistance to residents of other disaster-affected districts for home cleaning and restoration.
