Work Scope :
Responsible for providing Aircraft Maintenance services to fulfill operating requirements as instructed by the customer airline supervision (On board Engineer) and will survive all maintenance and associated activites are performed as per the Airport & Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited/customer airline procedures and provided aircraft maintenance data.
Responsibilities :
- Identifying and resolving technical issues or malfunctions in the aircraft systems, engines, avionics, and other components during line maintenance activities. This include diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing faulty parts, and conducting functional tests under the supervision of customer airlines ground engineer.
- Every aircraft gate and aircraft hard standing position must receive a foreign object debris inspection “FOD Walk” prior to every flight arrival and again prior to each departure.
- Performing pre-flight and post flight inspections as per specified schedules and procedures to ensure the aircraft is airworthy and ready for flight. This may involve checking
control surfaces, fluid, levels, tires, brakes, and other critical components. - Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal safety as well as the safety of aircraft, crew, and passengers. This entails following lockout/tag out procedures, using protective equipment, following electrical safety measures, and actively participating in safety programs.
Requirement :
- Should have a relevant vocational, tertiary or trade qualification from a recognized Aeronautical College.
- Should have Passed the GCE (O/L) Examination.
Experience :
- Five (05) years experience in Commercial Air Transport Line maintenance operation on contemporary Jet Aircraft.
Age :
- Age should be below 45 years at the closing date of applications.
