Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka invites applications for the post of Driver (External). You can apply to it before closing date as per the following details. Closing date and other job details are given below.

Role Statement :

• Safe-keeping & maintenance of the vehicles in good condition
• Driving of vehicles according to the directions and guidance
• Responsible for the security of vehicles
• Regular washing, cleaning and regular checking of all lubricants and additives

Summary of the RoleMinimum Necessary Skills, Education, and Work Experience :

• Shall have possessed a valid driving license issued by the Commissioner General of Motor Traffic with regard to driving of private/ hiring cars and station
  wagons tare of which less than 24 CWT. (A driving license in vehicle Class C and C1 or a driving license in Class B under new procedure shall have been
  obtained at least before three (03) years from the date of recruitment)  And
• The candidate must have successfully completed the G.C.E. (O/L) test. I have passed six classes with a minimum of two credits Taking into account the Sinhala and Tamil languages at no more than two sessions. And
• Shall possess 3 years experience as a driver of Motor vehicles. (The experience shall be proved by certificates)  And
• Shall have a fair knowledge on the Highway Code.

Salary :

• TRC 10.1 -Rs. 78,826 (10×994) -(10×1408)-(10×2112)-(10×2816) – 152,126

Age :

• 18-45 years by the closing date of applications

• Applicants who are employed at Government institutions should submit their applications through the Head of the institution.

• The TRCSL is a regulatory authority, wherein any person being recruited for employment in the TRCSL shall not promote, advance, or advocate directly or indirectly for appointment or employment of his/her spouse or any member of the family in or to a position in an institution that is under to the regulatory control of the TRCSL.
